Madrid In Motion qualifies for the semifinals of the GCL Super Cup in Prague

The Spanish team Madrid In Motion, sponsored by Marqués de Riscal, Massimo Dutti and Van Mossel, secured their qualification yesterday for the semifinals of the Prague Playoffs of the Super League, after finishing the quarter-final round in seventh place. The team thus moved ahead of the last squad eligible for the next phase, New York Empire, earning a spot among the top eight.

In yesterday’s round, Britain’s Jack Whitaker with Jack JL and Spain’s Eduardo Álvarez Aznar with Made In’t Ruytershof delivered faultless rounds, providing two key results for the team’s qualification. Meanwhile, Dutch rider Kim Emmen, competing with Imagine N.O.P., picked up two rails down in her round.

With this result, Madrid In Motion will face today the other seven qualified teams, as well as the four leaders of the regular season—Valkenswaard United, Cannes Stars, Shanghai Swans and Riesenbeck International—who enter the competition directly at this stage.

The semifinal will begin tonight at 20:10, where the team will aim to place among the best and keep their hopes alive of reaching Sunday’s grand final.
