Exciting closing of the LNS RFHE in Valladolid with great prizes and show assured
8 Jun 2025The third and last day of the National Jumping League RFHE in Valladolid started with intensity, presenting three initial tests with heights ranging between 1.30 and 1.50 meters, including the highlights of the weekend: the Grand Prix of the Silver League and Gold League, with courses of 1.40 m and 1.50 m, respectively.
Solán de Cabras Trophy
The first test of the day, the Solán de Cabras Trophy, brought together 72 riders. The winner was Nicolás Coba, who signed an impeccable performance riding “Xanadú de Olid”. The second place went to Pablo Santiago Artime with “Melectra”, and the podium was completed by Haizea Pérez de Nanclares, third with “Al Eleven”.
Gran Premio Liga Plata - Gadis Trophy (Securitas Direct)
One of the most outstanding races of the day was the Gran Premio Liga Plata - Gadis Trophy, with obstacles of 1.40 meters and the participation of 54 riders. In a tight and exciting tiebreaker, the Basque rider Ekain Azkarraga won with “Chianti des Roques” stopping the clock in 36.36 seconds. Close behind was Kevin González de Zárate with “Mesala del Amor” (36.40 seconds), while Pedro Fernández Mateos, with “Flach Mouche”, was third with 36.49 seconds.
With this result, Pedro Fernández Mateos becomes the new leader of the Securitas Direct Silver League with 73 points, followed by Enrique Camiruaga and Ekain Azkarraga himself, both with 60 points.
Gran Premio Liga Oro - Trofeo Caja Rural de Zamora
The most awaited event of the weekend was the Gran Premio Liga Oro - Trofeo Caja Rural de Zamora, held under the sponsorship of the City Council of Valladolid. Only 28 riders took part in this demanding competition over obstacles of 1.50 meters.
The great protagonist was again Iván Serrano, who revalidated his victory of the previous year, this time riding “Corvara Blue PS”, with a time of 41.87 seconds. In second position finished Enrique Camiruaga with “Perlenband” (43.32 seconds), and the third place was again for Iván Serrano, this time with “Porsche 911 M”, although with a penalty of 4 points.
After the event in Valladolid, the provisional classification of the Gold League is headed by José Antonio García Dianacon 69 points, followed by Kevin González de Zárate (67) and Salvador Astolfi (66).
Tressis Trophy
In the afternoon session the Tressis Trophy was held, with heights of 1.30 meters and 60 participants. The victory went to the Basque rider Aiora Gerekiz with “Baila du Veillon”. Second place went to Alonso López Benito with “Too Much AL ROC”, and third place to the Asturian Jairo Junquera with “Illán de Maeza”.
Etxealde Trophy - Closing of the competition
The day and the weekend closed with the Etxealde Trophy, reserved for local pairs, with the participation of 14 teams. Carla Rábano won with a clear victory riding “Casilda MM”, completing the course in 68.47 seconds. In second place finished Manuel Pérez Morillo with “Xiara de Olid”, and in third place, Pablo García Lara with “Kimono MC”.
