Javier González Fraga emerged victorious in the "Diputación de Valladolid" Trophy

Today marked the start of the second venue of the RFHE National Show Jumping League in Valladolid. With over 200 horses stabled, the facilities of the Real Hípica de Valladolid host national equestrian events during these three days of competition.

The first major event of the competition was the Diputación de Valladolid Trophy, a 1.45m class where Galician rider Javier González Fraga secured one of the significant victories of the weekend. "Aragon La Garette Z" was the fastest horse in a speed class. Joining him on the podium were Basque riders Pello Elorduy and Kevin González de Zarate in second and third place respectively.

Victory for Biscayan rider in the Tressis Trophy

The first of the two competitions held during the afternoon of the first day was the Tressis Trophy, with obstacles at 1.35m.

A total of 58 pairs competed, and the fastest was the duo formed by Ibone Ibañez and "Bambino Assemont," with a time of 60.39 seconds securing them the victory. They were followed by another rider from the Centro Hípico Mungia, Rubén Gómez, riding "Caelios de Roumard." Their time was 62.61 seconds, while Pello Elorduy brought "FlonFlon" to the third position with a time of 62.67 seconds.

Ibone Ibañez received the trophy from Guillermo Dominguez, Managing Partner of Tressis in Castilla y León.
