The CSN* Valladolid kicks off with a victory by the young Amazon Haizea Garmendia

Three classes ranging from 1.10m to 1.30m heights kicked off the three-day program this weekend at the Real Sociedad Hípica de Valladolid

The morning program of this first day of the CSN5* Valladolid featured three classes.

The highest class was the Volvo Trophy, with obstacles at 1.30 meters, contested by 48 pairs and won by the young Amazon Haizea Garmendia Ajuria. The Basque rider secured victory with "Conthargos Rouge," followed by Alex Sagarduy, riding Viva la Vida LR, and the third-placed Fidel Dávila García, aboard "Arezzo de Llamosas."

Leticia Gutiérrez Alcelay, sales manager of Palausa Volvo, presented the trophy to the winner.

Equitrack Trophy

The first classes of this inaugural day started early, at 9:00 a.m., with the Equitrack Trophy, featuring obstacles at 1.10 meters high. The competition was among local riders, and the winner was the Amazon Sara Martínez Sanz, who achieved the only clear round of the class with "Nike W."

On the podium of the class, she was joined by Irene González Martin, second with "Nelson Easy," and Diego Agudo Gil, third with "Carolus del Cañamal."

Casas Novas Trophy

It was the second class of the day, with 81 pairs participating, facing a course with obstacles at 1.20m high and judged under the Two Phase special format.

The Basque rider, Anartz Peña Delgado, clinched victory with "Eclipse Barbotiere," completing the second phase in 39.29 seconds. The second and third places went to two other Basque Amazons, Elena Gandía and Nerea Robles. The former finished with a time of 40.18 seconds riding "Buffo Azzurro B," while Robles secured third place with a time of 40.43 seconds aboard "Geniale M-G C Leuze."
