The CSI 3 Maeza will hold its next edition on July 4th, 5th, and 6th at the Yeguada Finca Maeza facilities in Sariego.*
This international event not only features top-level equestrian competitions but also offers entertainment and leisure activities for the whole family.
Throughout the weekend, spectators will enjoy the talent of outstanding Asturian riders, who will compete in front of their home crowd in what promises to be an unforgettable international show. Among the most recognized names are Gerardo Menéndez Mieres and Carlos Lopez Fanjul, both regulars since the very first edition of the competition, with Carlos having claimed victory in the Gran Premio Maeza. Also competing will be Luis Jesús Escobar, Julio Arias, and Miguel Honrubia Alvariño—an Asturian rider based in Madrid—alongside Juan Carlos Rodríguez Fernández and Jairo Junquera, representing Yeguada Finca Maeza.
The future of Asturian equestrian sport will also be on display, with promising young talents like Olivia Álvarez García, Pablo Santiago Artime—who placed third in the 2025 Young Rider Nations Cup in Vejer de la Frontera—and internationally experienced riders such as Micaela Álvarez and Daniel Ocaña, regular competitors in junior Nations Cups. Carmen Artime, recently third in the Spanish Pony D Championship, will also compete, along with Mar Pérez Fernández, another successful local rider.
This edition brings together experience and youth to deliver a unique equestrian spectacle, further establishing the CSI 3 Maeza* as one of the most important events on Spain’s national show jumping calendar.
