Winning a class in an international show jumping competition is difficult, but winning three consecutive days with the same horse is a real feat. And Eric Van der Vleuten Jr. has achieved it at the CSI3* of Maeza, winning with "Graf de Maeza" in the three 1'25 classes of the competition. In the Exterior Plus Trophy he was again the fastest with the horse bred by Yeguada Finca Maeza, who returned home to give full satisfaction to his breeders and owners, the Bares-Maestre family.

The Exterior Plus Trophy was held over two phases and the Dutch rider took 25'43 seconds in the second phase, while his closest rival, the Argentinean rider Juan Ignacio Álvarez Fermosel, completed the course with "Vinca Jacob" in 26'85. Third in the standings was Spain's Fernando de los Santos, who completed the second phase course with "Isba Caps" in 28'16 seconds.

After the Dutch anthem was played in his honor for the third consecutive day, Eric Van der Vleuten Jr. received the trophy from Luz Álvarez Collar, Planning Director of Exterior Plus.
