CSI Maeza continues to strengthen its position as one of the premier events on the international show jumping calendar. The outstanding quality of its facilities, the meticulous preparation of its arenas, and the excellent summer weather conditions in Asturias make Yeguada Finca Maeza a must-visit destination each year for many of the world's leading riders.
The 2026 edition will once again feature an outstanding international line-up, bringing together Olympic riders, World Championship competitors, and regular participants on the most prestigious international circuits.
Among the headline names is French rider Olivier Robert, one of the most established competitors on the European circuit. A regular on the Longines Global Champions Tour and at the world's leading CSI5* events, Robert boasts an impressive international career highlighted by major victories, including the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Madrid.
Another major attraction will be Italy's Luca Maria Moneta, one of the cornerstones of the Italian national team over the past decade. An Olympian and veteran of the FEI World Championships, European Championships and FEI World Cup competitions, Moneta also has fond memories of Maeza, where he claimed the Grand Prix title in 2023. He returns this year aiming to repeat that success, following an excellent start to the season that has already included several notable international results, among them a runner-up finish in a Two-Phase competition at the prestigious Al Shira'aa Tour.
Asia will be represented by Japan's Eiken Sato, one of his country's leading show jumping riders. Having competed at both the Tokyo and Paris Olympic Games, the experienced Olympian will add further strength to an edition that once again welcomes athletes from all five continents.
Representing Argentina will be Martín Dopazo, one of Latin America's most accomplished riders. Dopazo has competed at three Olympic Games—Sydney 2000, Athens 2004 and Tokyo 2020—where he helped Argentina secure a historic seventh-place finish in the team competition. He has also represented his country at two FEI World Championships, five Pan American Games, and has won the Argentine National Championship on three occasions.
France's strong presence will also include Aurélien Leroy, one of the sport's most promising young talents. After making his FEI World Cup debut earlier this year at the CSI5*-W Bordeaux, Leroy has continued his steady rise with impressive performances at international competitions such as St. Tropez and Arouca.
Meanwhile, Norwegian rider Jenny Krogsæter arrives at Maeza after establishing herself as one of the circuit's breakthrough stars. Following an impressive debut at top level during the CSI5*-W Oslo and an outstanding sixth-place finish in the FEI World Cup Grand Prix in Helsinki—where she produced two flawless rounds—she is regarded as one of Europe's most exciting emerging talents.
The participation of all these riders further underlines the sporting growth of CSI Maeza, which continues to enhance its international prestige year after year while offering spectators in Asturias the opportunity to enjoy some of the finest horse-and-rider combinations in world show jumping.
