Diego Ramos Maneiro renews his Podium Scholarship for the fifth consecutive year
10 Dec 2025Madrid, December 10th, 2025 — The 23-year-old Galician rider, Diego Ramos Maneiro, has once again been selected to receive the Podium Scholarship, awarded by the Spanish Olympic Committee and Telefónica, following the assessment of his sporting results over the past year. With this distinction, Ramos reaches five consecutive years as part of one of Spain’s most significant support programs for developing elite athletic talent.
The Podium Scholarship is an initiative designed to boost the careers of young high-performance athletes, providing financial support, visibility, and the tools needed to progress professionally. The program currently includes more than 80 athletes across 32 disciplines, consolidating its reputation as a benchmark in the promotion of emerging sporting talent in Spain.
Ramos continues his training in Belgium under the guidance of renowned Olympic showjumper Jos Lansink, with whom he works as a permanent member of the team. Training at these top-level facilities has enabled him to advance both technically and competitively, strengthening his development and achieving results that position him among the Spanish riders with the strongest international projection.
