The Longines Global Champions Tour Mexico presented by GNP Mexico Jumping got off to a fantastic start once again at the Campo Militar Marte.

The Maestro Dobel Trophy kicked off the CSI5*, and it ended with the victory of Irish rider Denis Lynch. The competition featured jumps of 1.40 meters high and participants of the caliber of the number one in the Longines Ranking FEI, Swedish rider Henrik Von Eckermann, who also recently won the Longines World Cup Final in Omaha just two weeks ago.

Out of over 90 horse-rider pairs that took to the track, only 7 made it to the second phase. Among them was Denis Lynch riding "Cornetas Iberio," who stopped the clock at 31.45 seconds, securing the victory. Second place went to Spanish rider Eduardo Álvarez Aznar with "D'Orient Batilly," and third place was claimed by Swiss rider Jane Richard aboard "Fouego de la Closiere."

In the morning, the audience witnessed the first Mexican victory in the Total Play Trophy. Out of 55 pairs, the first CSI2* competition with jumps set at 1.45 meters high saw Luciana González riding "Ehrens," Jorge Mena with "Balzac de Talma," and Marcelo de los Santos with "Cayetana" respectively clinching the first, second, and third spots.

Next up was the GNP Seguros Trophy, with 57 pairs participating. The 1.45-meter-high competition was once again dominated by national riders. Isaac Parada emerged victorious with "Caron Jmen," leaving the second place to Paulina Reguero aboard "Pandora," while Eduardo Sánchez Navarro on "Werika" finished third.

The CONADE Cup – Traxión Trophy provided an opportunity for the new promises of Mexican equestrianism to compete in the incomparable setting of the Longines Global Champions Tour presented by GNP Mexico Jumping. The competition, featuring jumps set at 1.15 meters high, was dominated by the pair formed by Mariana Ponce riding "Inverosímil." Fernanda Reyna secured second place with her mare "Filia van den Bisschop," and Diego Pasquel took the third spot with "Báltica."

Tomorrow's schedule will begin with the Azimut Trophy at 9:15 a.m., followed by the two phases of the Global Champions League – GNP Seguros Trophy at 12:30 p.m. and 3:45 p.m., respectively. The last competition of the day will also serve as the qualifying event for Sunday's Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Mexico presented by GNP Seguros.

In addition to the competitions at Campo Marte, there will be plenty for the general public to enjoy, with over 70 exhibitors offering various equestrian products, fashion items, decorations, and artisanal products. Food lovers can indulge in national and international cuisine at the food trucks area, along with the Wine Bar by Marqués de Riscal and bars serving Moët & Chandon or Stella Artois.

Live music performances on the GNP Seguros stage, featuring El Palomar at 2:30 p.m. and The Roquets at 5:30 p.m., will add to the atmosphere. Kids will have their own Nickelodeon area to enjoy.

For fans unable to attend Campo Marte, the CSI2* can be followed on the world-leading equestrian OTT platform ClipMyHorse.TV, and the CSI5* events will be broadcasted on Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports Premium.
