Winners Crowned in the RFHE National Show Jumping League
15 Nov 2025The National Show Jumping League of the Royal Spanish Equestrian Federation has come to an end in Madrid. The final took place in the indoor arena of the Real Club de Campo–Villa de Madrid, alongside the club’s CSN5* Top Ten. After the seven qualifying shows held throughout the season in different venues across Spain, the top 30 riders of the Silver League (1.40-meter fences) and the top 20 of the Gold League (1.50 meters) earned their place in the Final, where the overall standings were decided in their respective Grand Prix classes: the Securitas Direct 1.40m Grand Prix and the Real Club de Campo–Villa de Madrid 1.50m Grand Prix.
The best result in the 1.40m GP —and therefore the winner of the Silver League Securitas Direct Final— was achieved by Luis Ortiz Agüera. The young rider from Córdoba produced a double clear round aboard Mr Quincy B. Second place went to Javier González Fraga, who finished with 4 faults in the jump-off riding Tik Tak de Pravia, while Alfons Roquet, on Carabinieri, took third after also incurring one rail down in the jump-off.
Javier González Fraga was back on the podium in the Gold League, but this time on the top step. The Galician rider won the 1.50-meter category with two faultless rounds in the two-phase Final, riding Sonic JGF. Castora Ortiz Agüera, on Robinson, finished second with 4 faults, and Jesús Garmendia, on Callias, placed third with 8 faults.
The 2025 edition of the National Show Jumping League concluded with the presentation of prizes and trophies to the top three riders in each category, an honor carried out by Javier Revuelta del Peral, president of the RFHE.
