A Coruña, July 1, 2025

With just two weeks to go before the start of the competition, the official list of horse-and-rider combinations set to compete in the Longines FEI European Show Jumping Championship 2025—to be held from July 16 to 20 at the Casas Novas Equestrian Centre (A Coruña)—has now been released.

A total of 18 countries have confirmed their national teams: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Spain, France, Great Britain, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Switzerland, and Sweden. In addition, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, Liechtenstein, and Slovakia will compete with individual riders. In total, 92 combinations from 23 nations will battle for the European titles at Casas Novas.

The line-up features many of Europe’s top-ranked riders, adding to the competitiveness of several historically strong teams. Germany will be represented by Christian Kukuk (World No. 4) and Richard Vogel (No. 10), alongside the experience of Marcus Ehning. Switzerland brings two of its most consistent performers: Steve Guerdat (No. 6) and Martin Fuchs (No. 7). Ireland arrives with a powerful team led by Cian O’Connor (No. 8) and Daniel Coyle (No. 13), supported by Darragh Kenny (No. 18) and Bertram Allen. France will rely on Kevin Staut (No. 9) and Julien Épaillard (No. 12), while Great Britain fields Ben Maher (No. 2) and Scott Brash (No. 20) once again.

The depth and consistency of these riders on the international stage promise a top-level championship, with balanced teams and the potential for surprises in the battle for medals.

Casas Novas, one of the premier equestrian venues in Spain and Europe, is preparing to host this major event in a truly exceptional setting. Free invitations to attend are still available through the official event website: casasnovasfeijumping2025.com.
