Pello Elorduy emerges as the winner of the Securitas Direct Silver League Grand Prix

Pello Elorduy emerged victorious in the Securitas Direct Grand Prix, a 1.40m class, where out of 54 riders who competed, only nine contended for victory in the jump-off. In the intense battle, Elorduy surpassed Kevin González de Zárate by 34 hundredths of a second, clinching the top spot with “Lightning Mc Queen,” while González de Zárate secured second place with “Atlantic Z,” and Gonzalo de Almeida Barradas took third with “Tikal DZ.”

Pello Elorduy received the trophies from Carlos Fernández Varona, Key Accounts Manager of Securitas Direct, and Enrique Sánchez Guijo, Director General of Sports of Castilla y León.

Following that, the Grand Prix Exmo. Ayuntamiento de Valladolid Trophy Caja Rural de Zamora unfolded, a 1.50m class in which 24 pairs competed. Iván Serrano showcased absolute dominance in the event. Coming off his win in Valencia a week earlier, Serrano claimed the top two spots without the need for a jump-off, as his performances with “Chalawito PS” and “Rain Man” were flawless, the only pairs to complete penalty-free rounds. Álvaro González de Zárate and “Casa Diva PS” took third place with 4 points.

The trophies were presented by Cipriano García, Director of Caja Rural de Zamora, and Ignacio Zarandona, Councilor of Urbanism and Housing.

The last day of the competition kicked off with the Horse 1 Trophy, a 1.30m class featuring 90 pairs, where Kevin González de Zarate and “Calista VII” emerged as the fastest, completing their round in 60.20 seconds. Fernando de los Santos Garcia secured second place with “Isba Caps,” and Emilio Garcia-Torres Solano took third with “Falbala D'Aury.”

The third venue of the National Show Jumping League will take place from June 14th to 16th at the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona.
