The Young Horse classes today started off the second week of competition here at the Sunshine Tour in grand style. The quality of the horses was extremely high with roughly 2/3rds going clear.

Newly arrived competitors in this section included the Belgium rider Jérôme Guery, just back from a weekend at the Longine’s Masters in Hong Kong and the Italian rider Luca Moneta, who took 4th place there in the GP class. Both riders had clears on all their 6 and 7yr olds.

The Spanish rider Ivan Serrano also had excellent results today with all 5 of his Young Horses.

Tomorrow is the second vet check in Arena 2 from 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm.
