Yeguada Finca Maeza and Oxer Sport have reached an agreement for the organization of international competitions in the magnificent facilities of Sariego (Asturias) in the north of Spain. The plan is to schedule two consecutive CSI2* in July and, little by little, make Maeza an equestrian destination during the summer.
The signed contract covers 4 years, from 2021 to 2024, for a total of 8 international events. Although initially the idea was to start in July 2020, the difficult situation that our country is experiencing due to COVID19 advises to be extremely cautious and avoid unnecessary risks.
Yeguada Finca Maeza is a modern facility prepared to host top-level competition (indoor and outdoor). The Bares Maestre family views the new project with optimism: "We believe that the agreement with Oxer is a guarantee for the beginning of this adventure. The international competition project excites us a lot and generates synergies with the Stud. The idea is to add and contribute in the Asturian horse riding culture."
Oxer Sport is the leading sports marketing company in the Spanish equestrian sector and one of the main agencies worldwide. In the words of its president, Álvaro Arrieta: "Maeza's project has potential and a long journey. We are very happy and excited about this new client. We appreciate the trust placed in our company and we will work to make Maeza a great destination."
