The Madrid in Motion riders attending Prague are now revealed!

The Global Champions League team, the winners of the first edition of the GCL Super Cup of the Prague Playoffs, Madrid in Motion, will travel with all its artillery to uphold their title as champions.

With Eric Van der Vleuten as the “Chef d’équipe” of the team, the riders who have been nominated for this event, unique in the history of equestrian competitions are, Eduardo Álvarez Aznar and his veteran horse Rockfeller de Pleville Bois Margot, Maikel Van der Vleuten with his unfailing Verdi, and Mark Mcauley with Vivaldi du Theil. Wunschkind 19 will also travel to the Czech capital with his experienced rider Eric.

A team that is in top form after an intense but very positive season in which they have finished in third place of the final ranking, and that, if they manage to keep the same level of their previous competitions, they have high hopes of reaching the podium place for a second consecutive year.

This upcoming 21st till the 24th of November, the best show jumpers in the world along with their best horses will try to steal the title from the team who is sponsored by Massimo Dutti and Marqués de Riscal, in a thrilling competition where more than €4.000.000 will be at stake for the winning team. However, Madrid in Motion are playing with an advantage, as well as the London Knights and the St. Tropez Pirates who will pass directly to the semi-finals without having to compete in the quarterfinals on Thursday. Only the 6 best teams from the semi-final will be eligible to compete in the grand final of the GCL Super Cup on Sunday at 15h30.

The biggest equestrian show will open its doors on Thursday, November 21st at 1h30pm to receive in the impressive O2 Arena stadium of Prague, the best horse riders in the world. 63 top riders, with names like Ben Maher, Martin Fusch, Ludger Beerbaum, Daniel Deusser, Marcus Ehning, Simon Delestre, Pieter Devos, Edwina Tops Alexander, Scott Brash and Gregory Wathelet, will compete during this weekend full of emotion and thrill!
