Madrid in Motion in top form leave towards Hamburg

After an unbeatable performance of the team at his home on the 17th, 18th and 19th of May, the German city is waiting to receive what will be the sixth venue of the calendar.

The Global Champions League of Madrid couldn’t finish better. The local team sponsored by Massimo Dutti and Marqués de Riscal got to the podium to collect the bronze after the brilliant performances of Eric Van der Vleuten and his son Maikel Van der Vleuten. Four courses and four clear rounds for Wunschkind and Dana Blue which allowed the team to climb four positions in the final ranking. A very special weekend in which, in addition, the team took the opportunity to present their new pet, Chulapito the horse.

After a week and a half, now it’s time to move to the free city of Hamburg to play the sixth venue scheduled on the calendar. This time the three members of the team will be the Spaniard Eduardo Álvarez Aznar, and the two Irish Mark Mcauley and Michael G Duffy.

The three riders have been competing this weekend with very good results. While Eduardo was proclaimed winner of the Grand Prix CSN5 * Pineda, Michael G Duffy second in the Grand Prix of CSI2 * in Tubbergen. Marc, however, was less fortunate in the Grand Prix of the CSIO5 * Rome with 8 points; but he was able to collect the trophy on Friday in the 1.50m class in which he took the first place.

The team is in top form to face this new qualification with desire and hope to advance in the final ranking.
