Maikel Van der Vleuten raise positions in the Longines Ranking FEI

The Dutch rider, Maikel Van der Vleuten, has started the summer season in the best possible way, he has climb 7 positions in the Longines Ranking FEI, he is now placed sixteenth.

The Massimo Dutti rider has been also very close to become the first rider to achieve the victory of three consecutive 5* Grand Prix. First he won the show in Geesteren with his mare Dana Blue and at the end of the week he won the LGCT Grand Prix in Monaco with the young Beauville Z.

This past weekend he had the opportunity to make history in Paris, but 12 points of his horse, Verdi Tn in the LGCT Paris Grand Prix made it difficult for him. However, both his 14-yo horse and Maikel did show that they still do a good tandem, and in the two qualifying rounds of the Global Champions League they were able to finish bright, without accumulated faults, making things easier for their team, Madrid in Motion.

His top horses are in their best, there is no doubt, but also his young and amateur horses can boast of important results. With Canisha, a 10-year-old mare, he is achieving podium in all competitions 2*, 3* even 5*. Sildouch Z, 8 years, Hangover and Elwikke both 7 years ... all finish their courses with remarkable results in international competitions.
