Changes in members of Madrid in Motion

The Global Champions League has announced this morning several changes among the combinations of its 16 teams.

The team sponsored by Massimo Dutti and Marqués de Riscal welcomes among its members the Brazilian Marlon Modolo Zanotelli to replace the Belgian rider Cindy Van der Straten.

Good news for the 2018 Play Offs winning team that now has another of the best riders in the world, winner last May of the King’s Cup Caser Seguros Trophy at the LGCT Madrid.

Marlon accumulates a brilliant resume. In 2019 he was proclaimed team and individual winner of the Pan American Games, a milestone in his sports career in which he accumulates countless victories and podiums in 5-star competitions. He is currently ranked seventh in the Longines FEI Ranking and tenth in the Longines Global Champions Tour ranking.

With this addition, Madrid in Motion now has one of the best teams in the league. Marlon will be joined for the rest of the season by Maikel Van der Vleuten, Eduardo Álvarez Aznar, Eric Van der Vleuten, Mark Mcauley and the U25 rider Michael G Duffy.

New motivations for the team that increase the chances of improving positions in the provisional ranking in which they currently occupy the tenth place.

Next August Marlon will have his official debut as a new member of the Madrid in Motion team.
