This weekend the eighth venue of the Global Champions League was held in the Swedish city of Stockholm.
The team sponsored by Massimo Dutti and Marqués de Riscal, Madrid in Motion, arrived with the batteries charged after the victory of Eric and Maikel Van der Vleuten in Cannes last week.
Marc Mcauley and Eduardo Álvarez Aznar have been in charge of representing the team on this occasion. After the first qualifying, the riders accumulated eight penalty points from the Irish, an acceptable result after a round in which only one team achieved a double 0, the New York Empires.
On Saturday the two riders had a new opportunity. A route designed by Uliano Vezzani, allowed the team to finish without fail placing them in third position behind the London Knights and the Berlin Eagles.
A fantastic result that has allowed them to climb positions in the global ranking and placed third to only three points of the Miami Celtics, currently in second position.
After the opening of the Olympic Stadium in Stockholm, the team moves to the Portuguese city of Estoril to compete in the ninth venue of the league that will take place on 20, 21 and 22 June.
