RIESENBECK INTERNATIONAL CLAIMS VICTORY IN THE GLOBAL CHAMPIONS LEAGUE MEXICO 2023 TROPHY PRESENTED BY GNP SEGUROS.

Moments of great emotion and suspense were experienced during the development of the second day of the Longines Global Champions Tour Mexico presented by GNP Mexico Jumping, which culminated in the victory of Riesenbeck International in the Global Champions League Trophy presented by GNP Seguros.

After the change in the sporting format of the event, and with the two Global Champions League events back-to-back, the best international riders provided the best of entertainment. Out of the 16 teams, only Riesenbeck International achieved the double clear, with the pairs formed by Philipp Schulze and "Clemens de la Lande" and Christian Kukuk with his great "Mumbai".

In second place, with 8 points accumulated in the second phase of the GCL, were the Paris Panthers, who also repeated combinations: Jur Vrieling at the helm of "Comme-Laude W" and Gregory Wathelet riding "Ace of Hearts".

Madrid in Motion, after arriving from Miami leading the league, stepped onto the third step of the podium, with Eduardo Alvarez Aznar riding Bentley de Sury and Maikel van der Vleuten with Beauville Z.N.O.P, who competed in the second GCL event replacing Laura Kraut who competed in the first phase making her debut with the team with "Baloutine".

The three teams received their trophies from the Founder and President of the Global Champions League Jan Tops; from the Risk Director of GNP Seguros, Jesús Zuñiga; from Juan Manuel Cossio, President of the Mexican Equestrian Federation, and from Alvaro Arrieta, President of Oxer Sport.

The Azimut Trophy for Colombia

The day began with the Azimut Trophy, featuring 11 obstacles and 13 efforts at a height of 1.45 meters and 72 seconds for the time allowed. Only 9 pairs out of the 55 presented finished without faults. Camilo Rueda imposed the pressure and the excellent winning time of 58.44 aboard "Indus van het keysereyck" on the rest of the participants.

Second place was taken by Juan Manuel Luzardo with "Big Stan" and third place went to Francisco Pasquel Vera riding "Dominant 2000 Z".

Tomorrow's activities will kick off at 9:15 a.m. with the Broxel Pay Trophy, followed by the Mercedes-Benz Trophy at 1:10 p.m., and the day will conclude with the Banorte Trophy starting at 4:15 p.m.

Once again, the general public can enjoy over 70 exhibitors offering all kinds of equestrian products, fashion, decoration, and artisanal products...

In the food truck area, the best national and international cuisine will continue to be served, as well as wine from Marqués de Riscal's Wine Bar, and bars serving Moët & Chandon and Stella Artois.

Live music will also continue on the GNP Seguros stage with Maria Bernal at 12:00 p.m.; Ensamble Ardiente at 3:00 p.m., and Ambystoma at 5:40 p.m.
