The SER Radio Asturias Trophy opened the second day of competition with a local victory by the veteran Miguel Honrubia Alvariño and Absolute Dream. The pair was the fastest in the second phase of the course, where 32 of the 62 participants passed without accumulated faults.
Pablo Santiago Artime, also from Asturias, was on the verge of repeating his victory in the class of 1.25m. Along Brisa de Montemeao, they form a great team, on todays class they finished in second place behind Honrubia. With this trophy, the young rider from Avilés has three podiums in the CSI Maeza, one victory and two second places.
Third place went to another young rider, Blanca Gandia, riding her 7 year old mare Ara de St Anne Z.

The Suzuki Trophy, the competition's Small Grand Prix, will follow, in which the best pairings from the first round will battle it out in an exciting tie-breaker.
