Mark followed his parents John and Sarah footsteps as they were jumpers at international level. He had early success, representing Ireland in the 2004 Junior European Championships. Mark left his father's stable in Ireland in 2009 and moved to Italy. He trained young horses in a trading stable for two years before moving to the yard of Italian jumper Lalla Novo in Cervia, in 2011. Mark has been places in the top ten of a number of LGCT 5* classes. Today he manages La Tuiliere with his wife in France.
