Gonzalo Menendez wins the Grand Prix Junta de Castilla y León on the second day of the CSN5* Valladolid

The second day of the LNS RFHE of Valladolid, began with three tests that varied in heights, from 1.10m to 1.40m. The highlight of the morning was the Caser Grupo Helvetia Trophy, with 1.40m obstacles, where 49 groups competed. Xabier Zabaleta stood out as the winner, riding "Dass HOY". In second place was Diego Azofra with "D'Emiralia", followed by Ekain Azkarraga with "Chianti des Roques".

In addition, other races marked the beginning of the day. The Helios Trophy, with 1.10m obstacles, was won by local rider Elvira Moro riding "Carmen de Orion", followed by Claudia Hernández Tascón in second place and Manuel Perez Morillo in third.

The second event, the Gadis Trophy, was attended by 91 riders and 1.20 meter obstacles. Gonzalo Menendez ended up leading the podium with "Letaway de Sorribas", followed by Aiora Gerekiz and "Baila du Veillon" and Paula Lozano with "Tina del Nela".

Estrella Galicia Trophy

The afternoon program of this second day of the CSN5* Valladolid, consisted of two tests:
The highest test was the Estrella Galicia Trophy, formed by 1.45m obstacles, was disputed by 29 sets and had winner Alvaro Gonzalez de Zarate and "Cimply The Best", being the fastest finishing the second phase in 33.25 seconds.
The second and third place were occupied by Pello Elorduy and Ivan Serrano.

Gran Premio Junta De Castilla y Leon

It was the last test of the day and 52 riders took part in it.
Gonzalo Menendez was the undisputed winner. He won with “Uthope de la Roque”, with 38.25 seconds, beating the time of Pablo Artime with “Melectra”, who finally came second with a time of 40.36 seconds in the tiebreaker. The third place went to Mar Perez Fernandez and “Guili Guili Nouvolieu”.
