The Asturian artist Breza Cecchini, deeply linked to the equestrian world, signs this year's image.

Sariego, April 23, 2025 - This morning the poster for the Maeza 2025 International Show Jumping Competition was officially presented at the Finca Maeza Stud Farm in Sariego, the venue for the event to be held from July 4 to 6. Numerous media, authorities, sponsors and friends of the competition gathered to accompany the Bares Maestre family, host of the event.
During the presentation, Cruz Maestre, director of Yeguada Finca Maeza, expressed her enthusiasm for having the collaboration of the Asturian artist Breza Cecchini, author of the official poster:

"We have always sought originality in everything we do. In the first edition of the contest, Breza already lent us her work to decorate the dining room, and since then we have wanted to count on her for something as special as this wonderful oil painting. She is a great artist and a great person, closely linked to the horse world. Her family are breeders, she lives and understands this universe", said Maestre.
Toño Velasco, author of the poster for the 2024 edition and Cecchini's professional partner, was in charge of presenting her and talking about her work:
"Breza Cecchini is a great artist whose painting is deeply linked to the horse world. There is a magical realism in her figures, an elegance in her characters, her horses, her gestures. In this piece she has created a dance, a rapport between two beings, the absolute protagonists of the event," she explained.

Breza Cecchini shared her excitement at being part of this special edition:
"It is an honor to be here and to have been the author of the poster. The Bares family has supported my work from the beginning. I am fascinated by the ethics of the equestrian world, where women and men compete on equal terms. That is why the protagonist of the work is a woman. This poster is part of the collection I am currently exhibiting at the Museum of Fine Arts of Asturias, in Oviedo, an exhibition devoted entirely to the universe of the horse, which will remain open until July 6, just when the CSI Maeza concludes," he commented.
For his part, Álvaro Arrieta, president of Oxer Sport -the event's organizing company-, advanced some novelties of the 2025 edition:
"Last year we had representation from 18 countries in Sariego, and our goal is that these riders return home speaking well of their experience here. We competed with 180 horses, and this year we plan to reach 190, without exceeding 200, to continue offering a quality event. In addition, we will improve access for trucks and riders to the stabling area," announced Arrieta.
He also thanked the renewed support of the main sponsors -CaixaBank, Grupo Eulen, Oquendo, Artiem, BMW Autosa, Ascor, ClipMyHorse.TV, Onda Cero, TPA and the Comarca de la Sidra- and celebrated the incorporation of Air Europa as a new sponsor of this edition.

The day concluded with an Oquendo coffee and an aperitif for the attendees, who were able to enjoy the unique surroundings of the Yeguada Finca Maeza, a prelude to what will be, once again, one of the great events of the summer in the international equestrian calendar.
