The European Show Jumping Championships in A Coruña will count with the participation of 18 national teams

- Casas Novas will host from July 16 to 20 a historic event with the presence of almost a hundred riders.

The Longines FEI European Show Jumping Championships 2025, to be held from 16 to 20 July at the Casas Novas Equestrian Center (A Coruña), will have the confirmed participation of 18 national teams, surpassing the 15 that competed in the previous edition of 2023 in Milan.
The nations that have officialized their presence by teams are: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Spain, France, Great Britain, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Switzerland and Sweden.The lists of riders submitted by each country have also been made public, and a total of 163 riders have been shortlisted for the championship. The final list, which will contain 98 riders, will be closed on June 30. Of those selected, 10 will compete exclusively in the individual category, while 88 will compete both individually and as part of their respective national teams. Adding the individual participation of these 10 pairs, the representation is extended to a total of 27 European countries that will compete in the Championship.
The presence of powerhouses such as Germany, the nation with the highest number of medals in the history of the championship, and Sweden, the reigning European champion, guarantees a very high competitive level. They are joined by top teams such as Switzerland, Belgium, France, Great Britain, the Netherlands and Ireland, all of them regulars on the podiums of previous editions. At the individual level, Switzerland's long list includes the reigning European champion, Steve Guerdat, who, after a few months off due to injury, looks like he could be fit for the championship.
Casas Novas, a reference Equestrian Center in Spain and Europe, is getting ready to host this top level competition in an incomparable environment.
