After the third venue of the Global Champions League, this time held on the stunning beach of Miami Beach on April 18th, 19th and 20th, the team sponsored by Massimo Dutti and Marqués de Riscal holds the eighth position in the final ranking.

On Thursday the 16 teams disputed the first qualification in which the time allowed generated several problems to the riders. Maikel Van der Vleuten and his father Eric were the members of Madrid in Motion jumping in the first qualification. Wunschkind 19, holsteiner with 13 years, and his rider Eric made a good course but a pole fell down and a point was added for the extra time. Next, Maikel and her 11-year-old mare, Dana Blue, did not have much luck. 4 poles and, like his father, a penalty point for exceeding the allowed time. But there was a second chance.

Saturday was the turn again for Eric and, as a novelty, Eduardo Álvarez Aznar riding Seringat who finished a brilliant course without fail that helped the team to stay in positions.

Thus, with 44 accumulated points and placed in eighth position in the overall ranking, they face the next venue scheduled in Shanghai from May 3th to 5th.
