TOSCANA TOUR 2010 STARTS IN AREZZO

Toscana Tour is about to get started. The event will continue for four weeks and will entertain a lot of people, not only the lovers of horse jumping.
From March 17th to April 11th the centre will have 4 consecutive competitions valid as qualification for the World Equestrian Games (World Championship) that will be held in Lexington, Kentucky (USA) from September 25th to October 10th 2010.
A few days ago the centre opened its doors to horses and riders from all over the world. The horses that have already arrived in San Zeno are about 800.
About one thousand horses, 500 riders from all over the world will compete in the arenas of San Zeno with exciting shows to the conquer of the prize money, that all together counts up to 609.000 €, one of the highest of all Europe.
ATHINA ONASSIS AND PRINCESS LAMA ARRIVED TO THE CENTRE
Among the best stables a few names of excellence stand out: the many times Brazilian champion Nelson Pessoa and Belgian champion Ludo Philippaerts that will arrive with even 64 horses. Among the VIP, Athina Onassis, Alessia Crespo, wife of the Argentinian soccer champion Hernan, Beatrice Patrese, daughter of the F1 champion and the horses of Salvatore Bagni’s stables. Not only sport people participating to the Toscana Tour, but also riders with royal blood, such as the Arabian Princess, Lama Bint Turki al Saud, that will arrive with an escort of bodyguards, but “only” with two horses.
