President of Oxer, Carles Vilarrubí, handed over a symbolic check to the president of USP Hospitals, Gabriel Masfurroll, for a project of hippotherapy to be developed by the Foundation Alex in Valencia.

The company Oxer Sport presented a check to the Foundation Alex, part of USP Hospitales, for the amount of funds raised during the “Entrada Solidaria” of the Grand Prix of Spain, the venue in the country for the Global Champions Tour, held last May in Valencia.

The president of USP Hospitales, Mr. Gabriel Masfurroll, received a check from the chairman of Oxer, Mr. Carles Vilarrubí, a check for 10,158.40 Euros. The amount will be used by the Foundation Alex (www.fundacionalex.org) to develop a hippotherapy project in the Comunidad Valenciana.

Thousands of visitors were able to enjoy three days of a top-level equestrian event in the City of Arts and Sciences, and also supported the Foundation Alex through the purchase of their entrance tickets, a part of which was destined to the foundation. USP Hospitales, the largest private network of hospitals in the country, joined the Grand Prix of Spain by providing medical support during the event.

Next year the Grand Prix of Spain will be held in the same place the 7-9 of May. Over 30 international riders will gather to compete in this spectacular event.
