The 20th Edition of the CSI of A Coruña will begin this Friday in the Casas Novas Equestrian Center. Twenty-one countries will be represented in the competition.
Some horses are already been installed in the stables of the Casas Novas Equestrian Centre. They have arrived from the Global Champions tour of Estoril and will begin competing Friday in the International Jumping Competition of A Coruña.
The rest of the participants will be arriving this week, and Wednesday is expected to be a busy day in the reception area. The final preparations are being made for the hotel arrangements and registration of the riders. The set up of the competition is being finalized so fans may enjoy this first-class event, that will continue through Sunday.
The competition arena has been revised by the Irishman Alain Storme to guarantee the track is in optimum conditions.
PARTICIPANTS FROM 21 COUNTRIES
This will be the most multicultural CSI of Casas Novas, with 29 participating countries from five continents.
FRANCE, MOST WINS
In the 19 Grand Prix held in Casas Novas, France has accumulated the most victories, with a total of five triumphs, then Germany and Holland, each having won three. Austria, Brazil and Switzerland place next, each winning two cups, while Argentina, Chile and Spain each have won once.
