EXCELLENT MEDIA COVERAGE OF THE EUROPEAN JUMPING CHAMPIONSHIP
23/11/2011
The European Jumping Championship, held last September in the Club de Campo Villa de Madrid, was a complete success in terms of media coverage, registering record numbers in Spain.
According to the consulting firms Kantar Media and Sport+Markt, the event registered more than 70 hours of TV, over more than 20 channels in Spain, France, UK, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Ireland and the Netherlands.
These impressive numbers were made possible thanks to the large deployment of TVE to cover the event and to facilitate the signal to all of Europe. Furthermore, Teledeporte, the public sports channel, broadcast the competition trials in their entirety, which totaled close to 30 hours of equestrian sport during the event dates.
