Brazilian Rodrigo Pessoa, Olympic gold medal as well and winner of yesterday’s El Corte Inglés Trophy, ends in second position, while Australian Edwina Alexander manages third place.

The best international riders have jumped this afternoon at the arena during the Iberia Trophy with the objective of warming-up for the GP Spain- Banco Sabadell Trophy that is taking place at the moment.
Olympic gold medal, Canadian Eric Lamaze ended with the win of the Iberia Trophy thanks to his partner mare Coriana Van Klaspscheut, making the best time in 53.25 seconds. Lamaze, current number 2 in the international ranking admitted that is a “very fast” mare. Nevertheless, he has declared that “at the GP Spain I will jump with other mare, young and inexperienced, and we will see its reaction”.
Olympic gold medal as well and winner of yesterday’s El Corte Inglés Trophy, Rodrigo Pessoa, ended in second position riding Palouchin de Lingny. With 54.30 seconds, the Brazilian got a position at the podium, followed by horsewoman Edwina Alexander and her partner mare Mel D’ Argences.
Narrowly failing to be at the podium was the current Global Champions Tour 2011 ranking leader, Brazilian Álvaro de Miranda. Riding AD Wilbert Z, De Miranda ended the round only one hundredth of a second behind the Australian.
