CASAS NOVAS PREPARES ITS OUTDOOR EDITION
10/06/2010
The Casas Novas Equestrian Center will hold its 20th edition of the International Show Jumping of A Coruña the weekend of the 9-11 of July.
During the second weekend of July , the Equestrian Centre facilities will again be the center of attention of the international equestrian world. The current world’s best riders will be at this new outdoor edition competing in a total of nine trials that make up the CSI 4* in A Coruña.
The most important trial, the Grand Prix of Telefónica (Two Rounds) will be held on Saturday the 10th in the afternoon. The last winner of the GP Casas Novas was Jesús Garmendia in the indoor edition, held last December. Riding Lord Du Mont Milon, the San Sebastian native finished the trial in only 37.63 seconds, becoming the first Spaniard to earn this title. Last July, on the outdoor track, the winning duo was Thomas Frühman, riding The Sixth Sense. The Austrian, on the list of favorites for this year, won the most important trial with a time of 41.92 seconds, beating out other great riders such as Gregory Wathelet or Robert Whitaker.
PLACE YOUR BETS
Casas Novas offers máximum comfort and convenience to participants, guests, sponsors, press members and the general public. One of the appealing aspects of this summer competition is the provisional set up of a large, two-story tent that allows for a privileged view for the audience in the VIP zone, and also includes a large coffee and restaurant area open to all.
The chance to place bets at the booths set up on the facilities will liven up the afternoon competitions. All benefits will be donated to the Cocina Económica.
