French Timothee Anciaume and Brazilian Álvaro de Miranda reach second and third place, respectively.
Canadian Eric Lamaze, current Olympic champion was finally the winner of the last CSI 5* tournament, the NH Hotels Trophy, which ended up being a very hard-fought competition.
Riding Hicktead, Lamaze obtained the best time (46.31 seconds) in a course that according to him: “Has been very good for a first day and the horse has responded very well”. Lamaze hopes to do a good round tomorrow at the GP Spain- Trofeo Banc Sabadell, although, as he just pointed out: “tomorrow is anybody’s day because here are the best riders”.
French Timothee Anciaume riding Lamm de Fetan was second, only 52 hundredths behind Lamaze. Brazilian Álvaro de Miranda and mare Ad Untouchable have completed the podium in 47.70 seconds.
TOMORROW WILL TAKE PLACE THE GRAND PRIX SPAIN 2010 – TROFEO BANC SABADELL
Saturday will be decisive for the Global Champions Tour because the GP Spain -Trofeo Banc Sabadell will take place, which is the first tournament that counts for the GCT ranking.
Tomorrow’s first tournaments are CSI 2* (Trofeo Precval, Trofeo Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias y Trofeo Coca-Cola). The Trofeo Iberia Líneas Aéreas de España will be the first CSI 5* competitions and from 4.00 pm we will enjoy the queen tournament, the GP Spain -Trofeo Banc Sabadell.
