New victory here in Valencia for Canadian Eric Lamaze, number 2 in the international ranking and Olympic gold medal in 2008, who won the Repsol Trophy putting in a time of 47.76 seconds riding mare Coriana Van Klapscheut, same horse that obtained another victory in yesterday’s Iberia Trophy: “It is a fantastic horse, she can do anything, and she’s suitable for almost any kind of competition”- Lamaze stated.
Closely following Lamaze was French Simón Delestre on Ciana Z closing in a time of 48.45 seconds. Portuguese Luciana Diniz and her partner Licapo completed the podium.
VICTORY FOR SPANISH DIANA MARSA AT THE GP OF VALENCIA- NESSPRESO TROPHY
Spanish Diana won the GP of Valencia Nespresso Trophy riding Crusella in the best time, 30.60 seconds.
Only seven riders were eligible to go into the second round. Spanish Ángel Bailo Alonso on Lavalette Leamax, ended the round in 31.26, which allowed him to place second.
American Caitlin Ziegler and her partner Herald 3 did not risk on the arena in order to make a clear round, which put them in third position.
